OFFERINGS AND TITHES
Offerings are the extra gifts you give out of the compelling stories, needs,
visions, and dreams you come face-to-face with that move you to your core and
challenge you to give above and beyond what you once thought was impossible.
Tithing is simply surrending your firstfruits, the first 10% of your income,
resources, talents and time, out of a cheerful heart because of what God has
first given to you and me generously - His One and Only Son Jesus. You are making
Him the leader of your life, not the leftovers of your life.
The tithe was given freely, without compulsion, and was placed under the management
of the Tribe of Levi, the Royal Priesthood, so that they had what they needed to lead the nation,
the people of God, and do the work of the Lord in and through the House of the Lord.
